Speaking at UTN about cryptography!

Next Saturday 22 I will be speaking in the 2017 edition of the Open Source Latin American Festival at Argentine National Technological University in Buenos Aires.

The National Technological University (Spanish: Universidad Tecnológica Nacional, UTN) is a country-wide national university in Argentina, and it’s considered among the top engineering schools in the country, so It is a great honor to be invited to speak there.

I will be closing the event with my talk and, this time I will be speaking about one of my favorites topics: cryptography!. The name of my talk will be "Small stories about cryptography and institutions. Looking at Orwell, Huxley and modern privacy." and it will be focused on stories about the fights between institutions, mostly governments, and cypherpunks, and I will try to explain what happen when governments try to force companies to use weak crypto or backdoors in their products!

As part of the conference other very interesting talks will take place about topics! Check the schedule here
